The annual Montreal International Design Show (SIDIM), held for years in the spring, has been moved this year to September. It is a gathering place intended to showcase the new design innovations by Quebec designers and artists, a place for them to present their latest products and to share their ideas with other creative artists and the public. This show offers a reference framework for the design lovers, those who are ready to renovate and refurbish their living spaces and offices, and for those who simply wish to get a better overview of new design directions and possibilities.

The show addresses such areas of design as architecture, renovation items, decoration, works of art, illumination, accessories, landscaping, furniture, stationery, and various other local products.

The art area at the show features works by the local Quebec artists.

Chairs and armchairs designs will also catch visitors' attention.

A special place at the show is devoted to smaller artisanat creations that could be purchased at the spot and carried home.

A food and beverages area will also offers innovative products.

SIDIM 2018

SIDIM - Salon du Design
30th Edition

April 26 - 28, 2018

This annual Show - Salon is a gathering place for Quebec designers and artists to present to the public their ideas and concepts, and to showcase their latest products. It is also a common ground where an exchange between various design creators and organisations takes place. The event takes place every spring. It offers an opportunity to discover new design trends and guidances.

There are over 250 products at the SHOW designed by more than 50 Quebec designers, artists and artisans. The Show is a big market where the trends of 2018 and the creativity of local creators are be brought together to offer new objects useful for everyday life.

If one like beautiful objects and is passionate about design, or is planning to renovate and refurbish their living quarters, this is the place to find many interesting ideas and objects that might attract attention and inspire. There are art objects, new design concepts of any sort, decorations, lighting, kitchen accessories, stationery, ambiance products.

The Show is open the public and design experts and lovers. The SIDIM offers the opportunity to meet various experts to ask questions, to get new creative ideas, and get inspired by the latest interior design trends.

SIDIM 2017

SIDIM - Salon du Design

More than a trade show, the Montreal's annual Design Show offers a cultural outing to explore individuals' and various Quebec companies' active contribution to the Montreal’s design milieux, and to discover their products and ideas that make the design world exciting and inspiring.

A significant floor space is offered to works of art, as they go hand in hand with the interior and exterior design settings. This year, the artistic presence is quite remarkable.

Open to the public, design lovers and consumers, the SIDIM offers the opportunity to meet the experts to discuss various future projects, to attend product launches, and get inspired by the latest interior design trends. 

Every year, this major Canadian design event is a unique chance to interact directly with suppliers and designers, where actual contacts replace virtual encounters, providing quality personal time. Over three consecutive days, visitors meet face to face with 300 firms offering hands-on solutions to all their design, decoration and space planning requirements.

The Montreal INTERNATIONAL DESIGN SHOW is unfolding presently at Place
Bonaventure. Iy is an annual and very special cultural event in design and creativity. It offers a new look into the design trends that will shape the homes, offices, businesses and institutions of tomorrow.

SIDIM is the major design event in Canada. It represents a huge opportunity for visitors to speak directly with the manufacturers and designers and to
get innovative and even unusual suggestions and answers to their questions.

Under the banner of Design / In Person, SIDIM 2016 pays tribute to its innovative exhibitors who passionately share their personal views, artistic and functional tastes, as well as new trends in interior design. Together, they constitute the soul of SIDIM, which is a multi-faceted source of endless creativity and the desire to succeed. In an often impersonal cyberworld, SIDIM provides the real grounds, a physical meeting place for exchange and dialogue.
